The rental shop may also give you some tips on the proper use for the equipment which you will want to pay special attention to. Diving can be dangerous if you do not know how to properly use the gear provided.
The last thing you will need is a fishing license. If you are in an area that regulates spear fishing you will learn about the various regulations when you register for you fishing license. It is important to get your license and be aware of the local and state laws if you want to avoid being fined.
